Florida first and foremost. Florida news summarized in plain English — every story with its source linked.

What runs here: Florida stories. National stories run only when they carry a Florida angle — a Florida official, a Florida court, a Florida consequence. Everything else has somewhere else to live.

The sourcing standard: every summary ends with its source, linked. If we can't show you where it came from, it doesn't run.

Corrections & follow-ups: stories stay up permanently. When one develops, the follow-up publishes as its own article and links back to the original — the record shows its work.

Privacy, and speed: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no trackers or third-party widgets. There's no account to make and nothing following you from page to page. The light/dark switch remembers your choice on your own device — that's the only thing ever stored, and it never leaves your browser. Pages here are plain files, so they load fast: there's almost nothing to load. Whatever Facebook does on Facebook is Facebook's; once you're here, it's just you and the story.
